Three Cheers
Three cheers for Robert Blake on his recent acquittal in the murder of Bonny Lee Bakley. I'm pretty sure he did it, but I'm also pretty sure Bakley had it coming. When you look at her past you have to wonder why someone didn't do it sooner.
Three cheers for the jury that convicted Scott Peterson, and three more for San Mateo County Superior Court Judge Alfred Delucchi for sentencing him to die by lethal injection.
Many more cheers for Iraq's new National Assembly. Half a dozen bombs went off around the swearing-in complex, and they still got the job done. I admire their resolve.
